yeah, if it happen every time you flush the toilet ,the garage door opens you better call 911 or CSI to show them and solve the situation .

1/ It is possible that there is a loose connection in the garage door controls.

2/ The reversing switch could be too senstive

If the water supply to or the drain from the toilet runs close to the garage door unit, the vibration from the water rushing through the water supply pipe or down the drain pipe could
be enough to activate the garage door opener because of either of the above reasons.

Take the garage door controller out of the toilet, put it in the toaster, and your problem will go away.

Wow, that's the most interesting thing I've heard about toilets today. I dunno, maybe the flushing creates some kind of electrical resonance that activates the circuit the turns on the garage door - really that's a real head-scratcher.

That is very strange.Since your garage door would have electricity to it and your toilet does not.Soembody must have rigged that one.Or a ghost(lol)

Well unless your bsin us it could be that when your water pump kicks on or a sump pump it is putting out a frequency that is opening the door i have never run intoo that problem persay but similar problems.
