I think its hilarious. the child mustve done something wrong.
those kids would never throw another tantrum in public again. lol thats how my lil brother learned. good times.
(im not talking about abusing just hitting as a disipline thing)

i see that everyday and in different places,specially at the supermarket and at the mall.Believe me some kids deserve it

Not enough lately, seen some times when they should have though.
My mom used to do that to me in the store if I tried to make a scene
But some parents take it tooooo far I can now say that my mother never did.

One time, I went over to someone's house and a little girl picked up a piece of candy from the coffee table (it was there for guests to eat.) The little girl was like 3 years old, and the mom snatched it out of her hand and started beating her excessively. I thought it was disgusting, and there was nothing funny about it.

lol yeah my father, he would beat us all in public, but that was the late 80's-early 90's so it was "acceptable" back then
I agree with you, I believe in punishing a child in public..I'm not talking about beating but other forms of punishment..I can't stand going somewhere and hearing kids screaming and yelling, or running around unsupervised..I mean come on get a hold of your kids or don't take them out..so I agree with you

I work part time in a grocery store, so that would be yes.
The same kids get beat again and again for the same reason...

I have seen mothers scold their child when they're making a scene..other than that, I haven't seen them take out a belt in public.

Yes I have and I think it's a shame. I'm not against spanking but some parents cross the line.
