how many times have youfinish shopping or got out of the store and accidently go to the wrong car?I did this like 25 min. ago! It looked exacly like my moms and same leather seats and everything! but then my mom said " what in the world are you doing and why are you trying toget in that car?" I was so embarresed

so many I cant even count. What even sadder is when I go to a truck thats not mine, and Im the one that drives it so, I should really know what it looks like! Its worse when you dont realize it and your trying to put a key in this vehicle that doesnt belong to you!

It happens more than people want to admit.
It also happens when you do not pay attention.
Dont feel bad . Just laugh it off to experience.
The latest episode that I did the same thing was at work. AFter a tiring day, I ambled to the one resembling mine, fished my remote control door opener and puzzled why it wouldnt open. After doing this several times and knocking the poor remote control against the door (the battery dislodges sometimes), I heared my real car responding to the remote a few (just two) cars away.
Needless to say, I was mortified. The other hospital personel who was watching me and I broke into hysterical giggles.
The two cars were exactly the same except for the plate numbers

Don't feel bad. I have done that before. There was a car just like mine parked two spaces up and I even tried my key in the door and realized when it wouldn't open I wasn't at the right car. I just laughed it off and walked away like nothing had happened.

I've done this. Awaiting a ride and walked up to a car similar to the one I was waiting for...couldn't figure out what to tell the driver...tried putting my key into someone elses car several times. Thank goodness no one was around to see!...that I know of anyway. What the heck...we all need to laugh at ourselves every once in awhile.

omgosh soooo many times, i cant even count them all, but my most recent one was like 10 times worst than yours lol i was at the drive-in yes, they do still have these where you park your car in a huge parking lot and watch a movie on a big screen, really fun and well there were at least 5 cars with their lights on because they were just parking and i just got back from the concession stand, but they were out of everything, so i didnt get anything and I was just looking around and I walked past our car and just kept going, except there were no cars in front of me, i have no idea where i was going then i realized oh my car is back there, like 15 feet away from me, lol, omg it was so embarrassing especially since the people next to us were like laughing histerically, and they were laughing at me, because they were all staring at me, haha not funny at the time!

This happened to me once when a car identical to mine was parked like two slots away in a parking lot. When I left work I I couldn't understand why my key to unlock the door wouldn't work. I kept trying and trying and was ready to call AAA when I finally realized it wasn't my car. Imagine if I did and they came. How embarrassing that would have been!!

hahaha... that's funny... about a couple of times...
the last time... I was trying to get to my black bmw...
not knowing there were 4 of the same cars in the parking lot...
I kept pressing the lock button on my key and it didn't work...
I thought it was broken... I went around... and looked at the plate, sure enough it wasn't mine... lol... and I was ready to call my BMW service center...
that means your car is a popular car... :)

Yeah. The most memorable one was when i went with my bro and dad to kroger. When we got out of the store, we ran to what we thought was our van at the parking lot close by. i tried to open the door, but it was locked. So my bro came and tried to help, but it wouldn't open. My dad wouldn't unlock the door with his keys even though i yelled at him to. He just stood there laughing at us. So i looked into the van and saw a complete stranger in there-a blonde woman lauging at us. AAAAAAAAHHHHHH I FELT SO STUPID!!! Well the car looked exactly like ours from the outside anyway......so i blushed and walked away.

well i was 9 and me, my lil sis, and my mom were shopping at the mall.
when we got out some guy was near our car and then the alarm went off.
he looked inside our car and said oops. when he saw us turning off the alarm he said," sorry, its the same car i have.
but i looked in it and saw the baby stuff so i knew it wasnt mine.
our cars were in the same column too so i could see why he made the mistake and the cars were exactly alike:]
