Because cats have a lot more agility. They can climb out of the windows and up trees etc. Also because if you try to keep them inside, they get their revenge in very nasty ways. Dogs will bark when they have to go potty. Cats will just go behind a chair and you wont know they tinkled until you start to smell it.

I am a dog person but.........people own dogs, cats own people. Cats are smarter than dogs, I do admit to that. But dogs are more loyal. I haven't heard of too many cats saving their owners lives.

They're not pack animals. Dogs need a master. Cats are their own masters.

Because cats are smarter!! Plain and simple.
Cats CAN be trained, they just choose not to be trained. Therefore they do what they want and when they want. Dogs are smart yeah, but if they were smarter - they would be like cats and have things their way.
Dogs are too willing to please and are drooling idiots. (no i like dogs, just not as much as cats)
I think cats shouldn't be allowed to roam like they do out on the streets unless they're desexed - less strays that way

Because no one cares about cats (go figure) and people dont care if they get in fights with other animals. so they just let them roamm.
