I know it sounds weird but last week I thought labour would be anyday as I was having the pressure pains down below and feeling really uncomfortable. But the last couple of days that pressure pain has gone and it just doesnt feel like I am heavily pregnant.

I do feel baby move but not too often, she has become extremely quiet. The heartbeat is there - it is usually around 150 but is now around 120. Is it normal to drop?

This is my 4th baby, anyone else feel the same or am I worried for no reason?

Your baby could have moved into a different position. I have had patients that this happened to after they were already in labor. I am more concerned with the decrease in your baby's movements. (the heart rate can vary based on your position, when you last ate, your temp or activity as well as the baby's activity) Any time you notice a distinct change in behavior, your doctor should have you do a NST (non stress test) which is monitoring the baby's heart rate with monitors on your belly and viewing the tracing on a screen like an EKG would. I sure everything is just fine but you really should have it checked out. Good luck!

I'm 37 weeks too. I felt the same way last week... so heavy and crampy and uncomfortable. This week I feel almost "normal". I don't feel the baby move much either, a little in the am and a little in the pm. The doctor didn't seem concerned when I told her. They had a difficult time finding his heart beat on sat but ended up finding it and said everything is great. Are you dilated at all?

I don't want to say everything is normal because this is my first, but I am feeling the same way as you.

I would suggest you give your ob a call. They're the experts, and every pregnancy is different. Good luck!
