Should I get up or just give the dog to the pound and let them water it?

maybe your dog is jealous of the computer and will hurry to drink up when you sit down so you'll turn your attention to him. And by the sounds of your question, the poor creature has reason to be worried.
Why dont' you leave extra water out? Pets should NEVER have an empty or dirty water bowl. Especially in the summer. Leave the porn for a second and water your friend, moron.
Give the pet to me. I LIKE dogs.

Maybe it's always empty, because you don't fill it up, dog's need water too and if you didn't want the responsibilitie's, of taking care of a dog, you shouldn't have gotten it. You're an idiot for even asking if you should put your dog in the pound, just because you don't want to give it water. When you were a baby, i'm sure your mother fed you a bottle, when you started crying and I bet she didn't think about putting you up for adoption, when she had to feed you! Get your lazy a$$ up and give your dog some water, it'll take what, a couple of minute's!

Because dogs are not stupid and he was waiting for you to sit down, before he let you know he was thirsty, so he could see you get back up and put water in the bowl.

He's the devil dog...he is watching you and he knows your every move. When he sees you walking towards the computer he gets his bowl and empties it in the toilet then places it back in the same spot just as you're sitting down. Beware and be safe;-)
