I use to have one and I loved it. Some girl above me said she got sick. Probably because she did not turn the heater on. Everybody knocks waterbeds but they are awesome. My mom still has a waterbed. She says she will never get rid of it. It is said it actually helps your back.

I used to love my water bed. I had to get rid of it when I was in a bad car accident, and I needed the firm support of a regular mattress. I was thinking of getting another water bed. I loved the full wave motion. It was also to be able to have the bed as warm or as cool as I wanted it. It took about a week to get used to sleeping on the water bed, but after that it was some of the best rest full sleep I ever had.

If you are looking to get one, I highly recommend it!

I have slept on a water bed in the past and it's no big deal. I am not a big fan of sleeping on a water bed.
You have to have the right amount of water, and the just the right temperature to sleep comfortable on a water bed.
Don't try it if you have a few drinks (motion sickness).

When I was little, my mom had one. They're okay to sleep on, but if you're sharing the bed with someone else, even the slightest movements will make the bed move.

I used to many years ago. Some people swear by them but it didn't do much for me. They are difficult to get out of and to sit on. and unless you get an expensive wave control bed you get woke up everytime your partner or pet moves. Also, they are cold and hurt my back.

I used to own a full-wave waterbed. When the heater is off, the mattress gets pretty darn cold!

Are you kidding? Have you ever slept on one? They are horrible, not to mention they have been out for years....I don't know if anyone sells them anymore. I thought they were too cold, and uncomfortable.

Yes, and I've slept on them before. When they're made well, they're a lot more comfortable than your average spring mattresses.
