Should I Bother Having Manners: Please, Thank You.?
Yes, I was raised to have manners, plz, T.U. Sorry. All that. Now, I am getting upset at the people who DON'T have manners. Please be honest in answering this.
Should I stop being polite, because they say if you do use manners you are wasting your time and rude people don't know what they mean because mom and dad never taught them. Why should I waste my breath and time?
Do manners get you promotions or anything in life, or get you the person of your dreams? No. I don't think so.

No you shouldn't stop. If someone's having a crappy day and they hear your 'thank you' it might cheer em up, and they might do something good for someone else.
People tend to gravitate towards nicer people, you might not always get a response but at least people know you are polite and respectful.
Why should you waste your breath? It's two words...

No, good manners are still very useful, and you will do better in life with them. Thank you for asking. I knew some rude people in my college dorm, who treated people badly and seemed to be more popular as a result, until the last day of the semester when a group of guys cornered them in the break room and break the crap out of them.

it depend on the situation. like if you around with adult or job interview or something u feel it importan then it good. but like it pointless and is a waste of time if ur just at home or with ur friend? u dont need manners but it still not good to be rude. so ya it all depend on siutation and i know how u feel. sometime i get anoyed of having manner easy but sometime i just got to have it.

you know who you are talking to and what you need to say to meet their needs. in some cases you may not want to say fukc in front of your grandma, but in some cases you may be looked at as a wimp for not saying fukc. it's pretty obvious whay situations politness is appropriate and when it dosn't matter. as far as random people on the street or grocery, sure be polite, it'll make the world a better place, but if they are rude to you fukc 'em.
