Easy-Hubby. That is the way it is supposed to be. My folks are important as is his mom but he comes first.

p.s.-It is also biblical.

It's not that you love one or the other more. It's a different love relationship. Your husband or wife becomes your new immediate family and that family should always come first no matter what. You cannot try to simplify relationships with history by asking who would you save first. There are life plans between couples and decisions to be made that are hard sometimes but they are worked out together. You must be married and have your own family to understand.

That is a very difficult questions for the following reasons:
1. I will always and forever have one set of true parents.
2. My wife/husband may leave me, cheat on me, abuse me or worse
3. Could I live with myself letting my parent (s) die for a spouse, that is, seeing the look on their face as I reached for my spouse?
4. How will my spouse really feel? Coward? Not unselfish enough to let someone else live?
Tough question. I really don't know, my love for my wonderful father and mother is so great I can't imagine it. Why? Because my Dad would prefer that he die rather than see me suffer and so would my mom. Isn't that the greatest love there is? Maybe I would I say" I can't live without you!" and die with them together. I just don't know.

Yes, to me the husband/wife relationship is more important. Also, i feel that the spouse has to be fully supported in front of the parents. (My parents taught us this by example, and I think that they really understood how important it is to have a good foundation for marriage.)

I love my husband more than anyone in the world, family included. My family knows this, and expects my heart and allegiance to stay with my husband, not with them. They love him too, which helps - I'm glad they don't feel like I don't care. I do love them a ton! I just love my hubby even more. Sometimes it's because I've vowed to, not because it's easy, lol. But he is #1 in my life (after God).

Hands down...my husband. I love him with all of my heart. He is my everything....I can't even begin to describe my feelings for him. My mom and dad have eachother, and they have taught me to be loyal, loving, and true to my spouse. I love my parents, but my husband and my kids are my immediate family now. No contest, my husbad is #1 in my life.
