No it will change your voice do to the fact that the molecules are lighter than natural air. And yes continuous use of it can deprive your system of oxygen which can in fact cause you to pass out and die. A breath or two although not recommended will not ham your continuous breathing of it will cause your to be oxygen deficient, and cause you to pass out.

IF you don't breathe air with oxygen, you might go all the way up to heaven. Is that high enough for you? Helium is not hallucinogenic.

He is an inert gas; that means it will not react with other atoms or molecules under ordinary circumstances. The environment in your lungs is considered ordinary. If you get a "rush" from He, it is because of the Oxygen that returns to your oxygen deprived brain; a great many of the O2 deprived brain cells fire at the same time.

Very funny cireengineering.

Apparently Helium can't cause intoxication except if you breathe it at high pressures (scuba diving).

Helium doesn't affect your body other than upping your pitch, but inhaling enough of it and it will cause suffocation (not enough oxygen you see, bad for the body).

Well, not really... it doesn't affect your system at all, but it *will* replace the oxygen you're breathing in - killing braincells and making you 'feel' high, even though it's really just lack of oxygen you're experiencing.
