DO - NOT - BLASPHEME!
Pickles are lovable, and adored by millions. Parsley are largely ignored, made into so much plate-candy but NEVER providing the succulence or satisfaction that any dill, sweet or sour, can provide!
When a 400-lb. Gherkin comes knocking down your door tonight, you best not have this question left on your computer monitor!!

Thanks for letting me sprout off. If I get in a financial pickle someday, my creditors may have to garnish my wages. I would prefer that my paychecks came with orange and lemon rind garnishings rather than the standard but boring garden variety parsley or kale. Your question was a dilly. I hope my answer was kosher.

I wouldnt say Pickles were a garnish....
Parsley ...yes... it rounds out and dresses up a plate nicely..
Pickles.. however, are meant to be consumed.
BTW, have you seen the price of a jar or Claussen® pickles lately?? Them things aint cheap..LOL...

i think they should b revered right now. They r so much better than parsley. Give me a pickle any day.

Well this poor man says "bring on the born again cucumbers!" They are simply a pickled food whose time has come.
I hope that one day they replace sauerkraut in my Fatherland as the national pickled treat. Yes one day when someone is angry with me they will say "you stupid pickle!" instead of the now passe' "darn kraut!"
That is my dream and I will push my agenda forward regardless of cost, the European Union will one day know the true benefits of pickles!

You know, when I was a little girl I remembered how Classy we were; my parents had dinner parties where they ate prawn cocktails and drank Portuguese red wine. And we had this "Forrest Gateaux" dessert.
Parsley is a bit of a status because it needs to be fresh..... pickles naaa.. I don't think so
