If you're an old style person go with Lloyd. If you want the kid to be somewhat with the times go with Lucas. I think almost everybody is in agreement here. I prefer Lucas too, it sounds better. Plus theres the nickname Luke. He might not remember the Star Wars days but at least there will be a nickname.

Lucas, Lloyd is a bit old fashioned and the double L spelling is often confusing to people.
