I might get alot of saints fans hurt with this statement,

the saints will at best be a wildcard in the NFC South. I do not see them winning that division, there has not been a team that has won the division 2 yrs in a row. No NFC South team has made the playoffs 2 yrs in a row, but since the saints have a promising offense i think they will be the first nfc south team to make the playoffs 2 years in a row. I say they will get to the divisional round and lose there. They will get past the wild card round.

The Saints were 8-8 5 straight years before 2005

There is nothing to suggest this would not have continued had Katrina not happened.

Last year they were 10-6. AFC North and NFC South were both on a downcycle. Saints also played a 4th place schedule. 10 wins against a weak schedule seems similar to 8 against a stronger one.

Therefore, 8-8 No Playoffs

Yeah i say they'll continue theirs hot streak in this season, with Drew Brees at the helm the Saints gonna be more explosive on offense he'll put up huge number this year again like 35 TD's and 15 INT's with 4000 yards plus and make the Pro-Bowl again. Withe the help of Reggie Bush and his special plays ability and Deuce McCallister power running games wow. Theirs defense should improve from last year, with the help of the draft pick and the offensive line should be better too from last year. I though the Saints would give the Colts a better fight than the Bears who's stink up the joint.

While they are going to be good I'm sorry to have to break it to you but the team that is going to be dominating the league this season is the New England Patriots, barring any major injuries of course. The Saints or the Eagles will make it to the superbowl, just to fall to the Pats. Maybe next year.

They'll be 1 of the top 4 teams in the NFC. I don't think they're any better than the other 3. Cowboys, Eagles, Bears.

I'm not even sold on the fact that they were a legitimate contender last year. We’ll see.

The Saints probably should dominate teams, especially being in the NFC. They would probably be very good, even in the AFC, but I don't know. The AFC has dominated Superbowl wins for a while now.

There are still some significant weaknesses, especially on defense, and they aren't going to surprise anybody this year. Also, just a few key dings at the wrong time can change a season. But it does look good. I'm going for cautious optimism, myself, having been a fan too long to get too carried away.

They will donminate the NFC but not the AFC. 4 or 5 teams in the AFC are better than the Saints.

I think they will be very good in the regular season and playoffs but in the super bowl they will go down to the Broncos
