hotter and more dense

It is impossible to track the universe to its very beginning as of now but at the time, all of what is in the universe today would have been squished into an infinately small space all consisting of energy.

I assume by before you mean the instant beginning of the Big Bang. If not, I would support Aviophages answer.

There is no "before the Big Bang." We have no way of knowing what "before the Big Bang" was like, nor any way of knowing what may have caused the Big Bang.

Anyway, AFTER the Big Bang and before TODAY, the universe was hotter and more dense.

Dont know.we were not there(let alone the Big bang theory) to measure the temperature or the density as a function of temperature.
the density of the earth increases with temperature.
If you assume The Big Bang theory to represent reality ,then the Big Bang theory don't have an answer concerning premordial mass origin or its temperature .
Big Bang theory only assumes that a certain process took place to form the Universe. No one had a crystal ball to Understand how space and mass mixed together into one Universal structure forming an architecture.

None of the above. If the big bang IS an accurate description of events, then before the big bang the universe did not exist at any temperature or density.

hotter and more dense:

the big bang theory is based on the assumption that everything in the universe was at one point in time, a single point in space. if it was a single point in space, that means that everything we know, was pushed into an infinite density, meaning more dense. ok now imagine all the energy in the universe, also compressed into that single point. that single point would then become infinitely hot.

Nobody knows anything about conditions before the Big Bang. The universe was much more non-existent than it is now.

With all due respect to the Professor who might be teaching you this course, at present, statements such as this are only conjecture based upon theory, and the exact, or true answers are UNKNOWN. However, if this question is part of a course which you are taking for a "Grade", I recommend that you use the answer supplied in the Course Materials to avoid becoming the squeeky wheel in the machinery.
