Well, the cons don't seem to like him, so maybe there is something good about him? I"ll be listening.

I'm impressed with his principles, namely that he won't vote for any legislation not authorized by the Constitution. I'm also impressed with his courage to tell the truth no matter how easily it might be twisted (did he really say that America caused 9/11? Are you sure?) I don't agree with some of his views (such as the states having the right to ban abortion), but overall I think he's the most impressive candidate out there from the major parties. He's the only one who doesn't think that the answer to every problem is MORE government, and I find that impressive in and of itself.

Not particularly impressed...as evidenced by his poll numbers..I had to struggle too hard with him blaming America for the actions of the terrorists...just doesn't have a republican feel to him...a republican would never turn on his own country like that. I did like his stand on the IRS though...

I am not impressed at all. And I would not call him just another face in the gop. He is no more republican than Hillary Clinton is.

The people that aren't impressed, don't know his political platform, or his reputation. Or, they love entitlements but don't understand who pays for them.

No. Ron Paul is a fake libertarian--with no real adherance to genuine libertarian principles. In short--a posturing second-rate politician. Typical Republican these days.

No, he's just a Libertarian in Republican clothing. Way too isolationist and minimalist for my taste.
