I am a high school drama teacher looking to direct an evening of Halloween horror short plays. I am trying to write my own stage adaptations of Poe stories and am having difficulty. I would prefer an entire evening of Poe, but other QUALITY short horror plays would work as well. It can't just be a reading of Poe because I need to involve a larger cast than that.

The Monkey's Paw is the most famous short horror play. Poe's stories are no longer copyrighted so you could adapt one yourself.

Its not approximately outer area yet a spirit that haunts a rock megastar . in case you like deranged psychos, study those authors a million) Jonathan Kellerman 2) Michael Conneley 3) James Patterson.4) those authors above won't disappoint you in case you're searching for deranged serial killers that abduct and homicide young little ones, or women to start a harem, or prostitutes or something the two creepy.

Once Upon A Midnight Dreary is a one man show of Poe's most famous works. Sorry that's all I know of.
