cheer up a friend that is down in the dumps? I'm looking for funny or uplifting e-mails that I can send to her. You can either e-mail me or just hyper link it. Thanks to all who even just read this.
Have a good night.

Thanks you guys you're all great.
She is down in the dumps about life in general.. there's a spouse problem which includes bills etc
I try to hang out with her at work but sometimes we are sent off in different directions and she lives 30 miles from me but we do e-mail each other.
Thanks again

It may be easier to help ya out if we all knew a little more bout y she is down in the dumps...dont have to be the whole story but a lil detail...Hope she feels better and ur a good friend to her to be doing this for her =)
Ok thx...mayb u could pick a nite a week or every 2 weeks and just have a girls nite out...those are sooooo much fun. As someone else had suggested, i would say send her a card in the mail (not a bill, which is great to recieve). Again we ALL hope she feels better and LOTS of love to you for being so caring!

1. Check out Hallmark.com. Send your friend a e-card. Check out the section on general encouragement. It works for me everytime.
2. Call your friend when they least expect and plan a fun road trip. It need not be a long one but even a day trip will do the magic.
3. The best part of life is forget the 'dump' part of life and remember the 'fun'. Try to do something that is worth remembering a lifetime.

i have a friend that would get in the dumps sometimes. when shes there i pick up a big box of lemon heads. she loves them and it picks her up some for a while until she fixes the problem. sometimes i give her things with boxers (the dog breed) on them. maybe you could do something like that.

Is there any chance you could just hang with her in person maybe go for coffee to a movie talk if she wants to and just listen or go shopping and take her mind off of trying to figure things out

Buy her a card, its more personal and she'll know you actually took the time to care. Plus everyone enjoys getting mail that isn't a bill.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
The courage to change the things I can,
And the Wisdom to know the difference.
This too shall pass.
