Nah it isnt. Just dont bring it in a lunch box. Now that is nerdy lol. Well at least it is at my school. I bring my own lunch to school because i am vegan. So i cant eat anything the school severs. People didnt make fun of me at all...
Also since im a surfer I like to stay in shape and eat healthy...
So go ahead and bring your own lunch. :)

It depends, most of the time it isnt considered nerdy because school lunches are so BAD. If the food is prepared by a gourmet chef, THEN it is nerdy. If ur talking about the typical cafeteria crap, then i'll bet most people bring their lunches.

Your lunch time is short and waiting in line can take forever - so bring your lunch. I don't agree about bringing a character lunch box though -- be yourself and if you like a Popeye lunch box - or Spiderman - or Care Bears -- be an individual and enjoy the fun of it. Laugh right along the jerks that might laugh at you. Have fun.

I would say no, if you don't like the schools food then why not bring your own. Now my daughter will be a freshman,she would NEVER take lunch to school. I think it's pride getting in the way! it's better to take your own and eat something healthy than to not eat at all because you don't like their food!

No, it's not nerdy at my school. I mean most kids do buy lunch, but if you bring your own you know that it's healthy and you know that you're gonna like it. (Sometimes school lunches are nasty and totally unhealthy). Do try and buy lunch maybe once a week though.

it's not nerdy at all in fact most people at my school do bring lunches. Just don't get a dorky lunch box, lol.

Not nerdy...picky. You obviously don't like what's being served in the cafeteria. (Some people may also think that you can't afford it. If that's the case, just tell them you're a health nut and that you eat special foods.)

You should not be worried about what others think.
The decision is your parents' choice right now.
Perhaps they cannot afford a bought lunch.
Perhaps they want you to have a nutritious meal.
Whatever they choose is best for you.
Above all, don't ditch it & buy junk food.
Lots of grown-ups take a lunch to work.
