If you were telling your spouse that you were pregnant...?

would you rather tell it to them in person or over the phone?
And 'spouses' [guys] would you rather hear it over the phone or in person? And why?

In person. You know that cellphone commercial were the call gets dropped? You don't want tht to happen do you?

I prefer to tell my husband in person but he travels a lot so if he is out of town when I find out then I tell him over the phone. Either way we always have a party to celebrate, we just have to wait a little longer when he's not home.

In person, over the phone is not personal enough. I'd like to see his reaction.

In person is so much better. You will want and need to see his reaction to the news. Will he be overjoyed or upset etc.? You need to see his response. You can make it fun by getting a neutral baby item and putting it in a box for him to unwrap. In the end....It all depends on your relationship and only you know what is appropriate in telling him the news.

My cousin got an I love you card for her husband and took a picture of herself with a beach ball and wrote in the card I love you and so does the beach ball in my belly. It was a cute and clever way to tell him and she enjoyed watching his reaction as it finally hit him that she was pregnant.
