I think the question is refering to the perspective as to which you look at life with. Your perspective of life is the color and the painting represents life. If you have an optomistic attitude than obviously your whole view on life will be different. The same is true vice versa.

I beg to differ that colour really didnt change the painting overall.
Its just that it INCREASED the perception but it didnot change the overall perception. Like I always say right questions get you the right answer and vice versa.

P2 And all colour is colour.

One kiss stained forever the white, white slate once pure as the unwritten page
A new author usurped the story changing it line and plot
Bending it from chastity and frigid space
To burning passion

The choices of color are somewhat like the choices we make in our daily lives. They can make or break a picture. Color is what grabs our attention or in the same way can make us turn away. Look at Ansel Adams... usually black and white but a hint of color changes the whole perception.

Absolutely, colour is more than just hue, it depicts and elicits thoughts and emotions, changes and controls mood and ambiance. My favorite colour is red, followed by green, but, I must be surrounded in earth tones.

Look at our sunsets and sunrises...both beautifully basked in colors. Look at our thunderstorms, wallowing in grays and flashes of white. Depends on which you find more attractive. The painting is always different, the colors always vibrant.

not so much as that painting changed how the colour looked over-all! Opposites tend to reveal much in art... fonnie art, shallow, ashamed...
But "that colour" only comes to life in contrast...

great artists like Leonardo da Vinci painted a picture and concealed it by painting another one over it, e.g. Mona Lisa.
