their isnt much of a comparison. the only thing that would matter is the tank size.
as while both need larger tanks, if your tank is under 75 gallons you should go with angelfish, oscars will need at least 75 gallons.
Angelfish need large tanks as well. They need high tanks as well. to fully devlop.
So it is all based on tank size.

What size fish tank do you have? Are you planning of having any other fish? 2 oscars will grow in excess of a foot and will need a 75 gal. tank minimum. They will be somewhat aggressive and will eat smaller tankmates. A pair of angels will fair ok in a 29 gal., and can generally be kept with other medium sized tetras/non aggressive community fish. Although in a 29 you wouldn't be able to keep very many. Oscars are also VERY messy so my vote would be angels.

With how briskly the fish are dying, i'm thinking there could desire to be something incorrect with the tank itself it is inflicting the fish to be poisoned. perhaps quicker or later the tank replaced into uncovered to cleansing soap or another chemical it is often stepping into the water. If an aquarium is ever uncovered to cleansing soap, it may never be used as an aquarium returned. it may desire to additionally be something you wiped sparkling it with without thinking. Or if it replaced into saved someplace the place there have been fumes and chemical compounds alongside with a storage, a kitchen, or a bathing room this is from that. it rather is incredibly in all risk if this replaced right into a used tank. If this have been the case, i do no longer think of any quantity of scrubbing could make it risk-free for fish. i do no longer think of it may be out of your water source, or it may desire to have effected the ten gallon besides. If I have been you i could provide up getting fish for now. Get some aquarium books from the library and view them so which you have sufficient awareness to be responsive to precisely what you're doing and what is going on in aquariums as a commencing factor. no person would be as responsive to all the standards happening as you're, so which you are the only that finally desires to interpret them. once you have an employer carry close of fish conserving, you could choose for in case you nonetheless choose an aquarium. From there, get a clean aquarium and all new kit because of the fact of course something with regards to the setup now's heavily incorrect. If those fish do die, don't get to any extent further till you have got here across for effective why they are dying and rectified the region.

Angelfish are pretty, but Oscars have more personality. Oscars can't really have other fish with them because they will eat them, but you can't keep Neon Tetras or Guppies with Angels because the nip their fins off. A single Oscar's minimum tank size would be about 55 gallons, but an Angel's would be only about 20 gallons.

i would go with oscars. if you decide to get baby oscars you can raise them together and they will grow used to each other and not be violent to one another. or you could buy a grown one which will keep you occupied for a while. they make good pets and have a lot of fire. they are very active and notice you my friend had one who would follow your finger all over the tank glass

Oscars look big and funny as well as hard to manage. You have to set up their cage properly and stuff. Angel fish look much better, and probably need less maintenence.
