I'm going to college in a month and this saturday I'm getting a Dell laptop. I have gradually been getting nearsightedness and my vision is getting blurry. Does anyone know (and money isn't a factor) what video card I can get that will optimize refresh rate (greater than or equal to 85 hz rate)? Obviously there are many but I just need one that people have found effective... Nvidia, Geforce, etc?
thanks

First, get an eye check-up. Then, better get being used to frequent micro breaks (30 secs or more) to rest your eyes. It seems you are STRAINING your eyes too much.

You do not need high refresh rates in LCD displays as compared to CRT monitors.

LCD screens found on laptops do not use 'refresh rates'. Get a laptop with the best video card available, because this is one of the most important things in a laptop that cannot be upgraded. Good luck
