i have a 6 cd changer in my dash, but the cd is stuck in there so now i cant even play or take the cd out. i have a 2000 toyota land cruiser. what are things i can do? and how much will they cost?

I had the same problem with my 2003 Honda Accord. I had to pay the labor for them to remove the unit, then wait for 6 weeks for them to return the CD's. Luckily in my case, the CD changer was replaced for no charge. But, in your case it is probably out of warranty. It sounds like you will have to remove the whole unit in order to access the CD's.

I had one stuck in a chevy malibu and i had to use a nail file and just jiggled it around. I scratched the heck out of my cd though. If you take it to a dealer its going to cost an arm and a leg... try the nail file. Just dont expect to keep the cd... good luck

try to take the thing apart to get it out. If you can't then try taking it to a store that installs radios and CD players and they should be able to help you. I don't know how much it would cost but you can call for free for an estimate
