I missed four hours of community service in November and four hours in December. When I arrived to in January to do my Community Service, the lady said that HELP of Southern Nevada "gave me a second chance" and did not send in my paperwork to the judge or my P.O. I am under the impression that I can make up those hours. But I was sentenced to do 16 hours per month. Not a set number of hours. I yet to make up those hours. Should I be worried??

no, your countries justice system is very liberal and lax and does not punish criminals. i would not even be the slightest stressed. plus if you do go to jail, your jails are so soft you could call them country clubs with television, coffee, phone calls, cigs. hot meals, laundry done, dental care. don't stress, your ok.

You might want to be concerned. If you have to do the 16 hours a month until, say, August when you are to finished and your PO looks back and notices you didn't do it the first two months...you are probably screwed.

I have to wonder what kind of PO you have since he/she hasn't already found out on his/her own that you missed the first two months!

All-in-all, you are probably free on borrowed time.

Good luck! :)

Look, if your only 8 hours behind, make them up and don't worry about it.

If you don't make them up, you could be screwed if you do get caught.

You should call your PO before he calls you. Explain what happened. Apologize. Try to work something out. If he has to come to you, you are already behind.
