well i am thirteen and i wanted if its okay for me to where thongs at this age and how do i get my mom to buy them!!!!

It all really depends on if you want a thong becuz u think that they are comfortable or if u just want to be like of the rest of the 13 year old... gunna be pregnaunt at 15 cuz im a tramp girls.
Now i am 21 and i have been wearing thongs sense i was 13. I think that most are comforable and i dont wear them all the way up my crack half way up my back so people know im wearing a thong. most mothers dont want there daughters too becuz it makes boys giddy when they see them. Moms just paraniod. go watch the movie called "13" and u will know why mom is scared.

Why do you want to wear them should be the question you should be asking. Because the ethics that your mom or others are brining to the table is that you're to young to wear one. Looking sexy at your age is frivolous and bluntly unneeded. You should enjoy your youth while it lasts, because it's never going to be this new to you ever again. A thong is not going to make you enjoy your childhood anymore, other than brining reality to life that you should not have at your age. Don't use items of clothing to be accepted in modern day life. Thongs are not sexy, the girl is. You don't want to attract boys that find thongs sexy, you want to attract the boys who find YOU sexy, and like you the way you are.
If you're too young to make clothing decisions on your own, than your two young to second guess yourself. So do what you think is right though how small of a 'deal' it is.

I know how you feel when I was 13 I wanted to do the same but now that I'm 15 I wear them and they are comfortable and I learned that other girls were already wearing them . If your just wearing to be wearing them its OK but run it by your mom if she doesn't like you wearing then well just wait until your 15 or 16 you don't need to wear a thong now. For right now just bikini underwear.

well there is nothing wrong in wearing thongs... and they are quite comfortable...
even when choosing clothes you dont need to take in consideration if ur underwear shows or not. example if u want to wear a white trousers... thongs are obviously the best . coz nothing shows.
i started to wear thongs at 13 hehe . i was desperate to wear them... i didnt tell my mum coz i was very shy .. so i just went to a shop and baught one. i was reeealllyy happy! my mum didnt coomplain about it.
so
1. or you tell your mother that now since ur growing up and ure a teen ager :P you must wear thongs coz of clothes and more comfortable
2. you just go and buy one and then show it to ur mum. well ur first one should be a normal oneeee. not with 3 strings :D haha

You shouldnt wear them ,at that young of an age , youll just be giving off bad signals to people . Like you being slutty . Not a good rep to have . But if you do , just get 5 bucks from your mom , walmart sells 3 packs of thongs for 5 $

i don't see anything wrong in wearing them even though i still feel that your too young , i wasnt allowed to wear then until i was fourteen still that was young aswell...
whatever feels more comfy i would say =] and if your mum is happy with you wearing them.
though thongs have a high risk in causing (uti's) Urinary tract infections which is caused from the E.Coli spreading from the anal opening towards the urethra so it could cause pain and burning when passing urine which may lead to worser problems that may need to be cleared up by antibiotics
do you really want all them problems at that age ?

I honestly don't think it's appropriate at 13. I have a 14 year old daughter, that I am very close with, and I won't buy them for her (yet) Maybe at 16, just not yet. You have plenty of years to wear things like that. Try some cute boy shorts, low cuts, or string bikinis.

No, if you were my daughter I would say absolutely NOT, until you are 19 or 20 years old. There is no reason a 13 year old needs a thong. Most of them show through clothing and the last thing you need is a creppy guy walking behind you.

Are you really asking if it ok. It sounds to me like you have already made up your mind by asking how to get your mom to purchase them from you. I am a father and certainly do not think that it is ok. I mean for what purpose does a 13 year old need them. Give yourself time to grow up. You wont be young forever and soon you will be wishing you were again.

I don't know...personally I don't think so but I know when I was thirteen there were plenty of girls who did...even though I didn't understand why
and actually thongs (i thought) were worn so you would not see panty lines when you are wearing a dress or something...and I guess for sexual enticement
