i think its not just the number of lovers that would need to be taken into account here, but the nature of the relationships. if they're one night stands then i'd consider that to be a person of loose morals, if its marriages or serious relationships, i'd say thats not something that should be judged as loose because it meant something.
honestly, i'd say if its in the thirties and fourties maybe thats a bit loose - who can judge?
i'm not afraid to admit that i've had six relationships, but each meant something and it was in mutual respect - i've never had a one night stand.
i'd deem a person of loose morals to be someone who sleeps around, cheats, or does not respect their partners and is in it for casual sex. Or someone who is physically loose because they've had so many partners (you know what i mean girls - yuck!!!). But i wouldnt say that a set number can relate to morals.
may i also point out people may have misinterpreted your question here to mean lovers when you're supposed to be in a relationship? (if thats what the question ACTUALLY meant then i think that to cheat even once is very very wrong and cheating is loose morals although some people have open relationships).

Holy crap! I'm looking over these answers and people are saying that if you've had more than 1 or 2 lovers then you're of loose morals? Good Lord! I've been married twice! Which puts me at 2 automatically!
I'm thinking those responding are either 13-year-olds or people who aren't getting any. I expect lots of thumbs down for that statement, but don't tell me I have loose morals because I've been with more than 2 men.

With what is going on in the USA today, especially with our Hollywood "icons" who change lovers and husbands and wives as often as I change my underwear , there is no longer a barometer to judge the meaning of :loose morals". We are literally swimming in an enormous sewer. When I read some of the questions on Yahoo posted by young girls and boys about sex and sexual practicies, I cringe to think what we will be like as a nation in 25 years.
