I'm putting myself through college without loans, so i REALLY feel your pain!
I eat a lot of tuna and Ramen and other cheap but easy foods, and found a second job that I can walk to to save on gas. I have an automatic transfer through my bank of $25 a week so I can start building a savings, but it took a while to get there. I have a cheap phone plan so in case I NEED to make calls I can, but otherwise try not to text, etc very often. And even though I HATE sharing a room, I got a roommate to cut the rent, and hopefully next year I can get a one-bed apartment! Primarily I just keep working and working and every extra dollar is like a big reward :). Good luck, and keep working!

Well, you should pay half or less for your housing. With a budget like that we are looking at reducing every day bills. It may be hard for a while, but will get you ahead in the end. Cut your tv/cable down or off. Cut off the added features on your phone except call waiting and local (in-state) long distance. Cut off the home phone altogether if you have a cell phone, just be sure to keep it charged and on at all times in case of emergencies. Choose an internet service plan that is limited, meaning you purchase only a set number of access hours per day or month. These plans are usually cheaper. Replace regular bulbs in your home with flourecent if you haven't already, and use daylight only when possible for lighting. Cut off the AC if you have it of course, and use curtains, blinds and window airflows for cooling. If you own a car, arrange a car pool or leave it at home and take a car pool or other public mass transit. Groceries will be the toughest but could save you the most. Pre-made pre-packaged foods cost double or more of fresh foods. Shop the perimeter of the grocery store, avoiding the center isle's. Meat, produce, dairy and bakery are all fresh inexpensive foods and are all found around the perimeter. Plan your trips down the center isles carefully, this is where the prepackaged expensive food is found. If it helps this is also where the extra sugar, preservatives and other ingrediants bad for you are found.
If you are thinking "what will I do with no tv, phone and snacks!?" For now, you could put in some extra hours to get yourself ahead a bit, get yourself out of that payday to payday rut. It won't take long, someone is bound to notice your extra efforts. Even if they don't it will expand your job experience increasing your value to the company or even a new one!
Good luck!

The only way I can make ends meet is by making money on line too.
It took a lot of research, but I have found some really good ways to make money at home. I have been averaging $2,000+ a month for the last 4 months.
Please see my profile for more information, including proof that these sites pay. And all of these sites are free to join.
Hope you are having a great day.

First you have to find out where you are spending your money. You can use MS money or even excel (If you do not have excel go to open office.org and get the free version) Keep track of everything you spend by category, rent, car, gas, food, coffee, lunch, clothes etc and see where you are spending the money this will give you the basis of where you can cut back or save and stretch.

Well, you have to make a list of your fixed expenses, and another of you real expenses. In other words, what you absolutely have to pay for and what you actually spend you money on. Then you start minimizing those needless expenses and even cutting them out!! Bit by bit, you will be able to save some bucks and then you will have at least a couple of weeks worth of money before needing to spend it!

Get a sugar daddy! If not this, the best thing to do is really look at your needs and not your wants. I have had to do this same thing recently. Its a hard adjustment, but if you want to bad enough, you can make it happen. Remember, always plan ahead when talking about money.

to have money, you need to spend less than you make. get on a written plan and stick to it. pay off debt... credit cards.. and car loans (if you have them). get rid of stuff that you don't need like cell phones.
your goal should be to become debt free, and have no payments.. with no payments, ,something odd can happen.. you will find that you have money.
