Get yourself a job that pays $250 (Investment Banking), but live in a studio apartment wich you will own (not rent). Join your company's 401k and contribute the maximum that they will match (any more is really not necessary). Spend very little (no eating out . . . cook your own food) and invest wisely. You should have $3 mil by retirement (hopefully, you're still in your 20s or something).

i might pay off all my debts, those of my husband, and my kinfolk.
