And Syria at the same time.

(But what Israel SHOULD do, for the sake of its citizens, is never what it actually does).

the real problem doesn't face Israel but Europe and the Arab States. Iran never would risk hitting Israel with all the Holy Muslim Sites and the Palestinean Arabs living there. The real threat is to the Gulf States and Europe. It's really not a Jewish problem at all, and Israel will be the safest place to be when those hate mongers unleash their Nuclear Strikes.

So all you who believe Israel is the bully here , I'd run to Israel for safety

It's going to happen if the West is unable to negogiate a discontinuation of Iranian nuclear activities. It comes down to Isreal's very survival. In 2001, Iranian President Rasjanfani indicated that if an atomic weapon killed many palestinians by a nuclear attack on Isreal; then they would be martyr's to God. These are the kinds of people that the West & Isreal have to deal with regarding the Iranian rulers; Hamas, Islamic Jihad, ect. 2 detonations on Israel and there is no Israel. The Israeli's cannot let their survival rely upon the Iranian's words and by the good will at any cost appeasement by the Europeans. If the current round of diplomacy fails, Israel will have to act. I predict that this will happen prior to George Bush leaving office in Jan. 2009. Basically, the Isreali's are being backed into a corner and have no choice.

Sure if they want to do it without US funding, and without expecting big brother USA to come in and solve the problems they get themselves into.

Considering the fact that Iran doesn't have the wherewithal to pose a credible threat to anybody, I would have to say no.

Besides, Israel has their sock puppet Bush to do its dirty work for it. Why should they get their hands dirty?

Yes. Preempt Iran back to the stone age. I mean, the culture is already there. Just go after the infrastructure now.

If Israel decides to do so then that is their business, not ours.
