i am a smoker and when im there am i going to have to go all day w/o a smoke??

As the other answers said you cannot smoke in Disney unless you are in a designated smoking area. I will include a link that you can look at to find all these locations.
Disney went completely non-smoking at their onsite resorts in July of this year as well. You are no longer ableto request a smoking room, they are all non-smoking, if they find out that you were smoking in the room you can get a pretty hefty fine. There are also designated smoking areas at the resorts.
When you are in Disney you can find these areas pretty easy.

A smoking ban kicks into effect Friday at all 22 Walt Disney World hotels. The policy also applies to all Disney Vacation Club Resorts. Disney says they're making the change because of guest demand for non-smoking rooms.
The new policy applies to all guest rooms, patios and balconies and designates outdoor smoking areas at all resorts affected by the change.
Smoking is still allowed in the theme and water park, in designated smoking areas only.

Yes they have designated smoking areas, really there are quite a bunch, it won't be hard to find an area to light up ! I am a smoker as well, it is just common courtesy to use these areas unlike some that come and just feel they can do it where ever, I as a smoker do think of others !

No you won't have to go all day without a smoke. Yes you can smoke in Disney World but only in designated smoking areas. They are listed on the park maps.

As stated designated smoking areas in the parks. They have added some more restrictions at the resorts. It used to be you could just step outside your room and smoke, now you can no longer do that, there are smoking areas at the resorts also.

Yes, you can smoke in Disney World but only in designated smoking areas. I was just there in November 2006 and there were plenty of designated smoking areas for my friends with me who smoked.

You can only smoke at designated areas. I went there at the beginning of the month and it wasn't too bad. What was bad was the hotel -- the smoking area was like a mile away from my hotel room.... it wasn't even worth the walk!

you can smoke in designated areas (as everyone else said) but Disney Hotels are all NON SMOKING
