I dont think you should define it as being over unless both individuals mutually agree that it is over. If you start to see stuff that makes you feel weird, then try to communicate as soon as possible as to what's bothering you. Communication is so important and without that things can get very confusing very quickly. Also if you have any money issues with your partner, you need to try and resolve those as quick as possible as well - that can lead to frustrations being taken out on each other. All relationships have their ups and downs. If you really want the relationship to work, you'll figure a way to do it. Best of luck!

A relationship is over when...
the love and communication stop!
you cry yourself to sleep at night.
you go to a marriage & divorce site and ask for help.
You know it's over. Don't deny it. Feel the hurt. Go find love elsewhere! Choose your own destiny; don't let it choose you!

When you decide it's not worth the effort anymore. No one can determine if its worth the effort except you. Figure out what you want/need and what you're willing to sacrifice for that. Then compare it to the relationship.
