My sounds on my laptop dont work?

so if u want the something here it is
There are no active mixer devices availiable/To install mixer
devices, go to the control panel, click printer and other hardwares, and then click add hardware
BUT my laptop dont even have printers and other hardwares

ps pleas help me people

Click Start, click Run, then type dxdiag, click OK. Select Sound tab. You should see your device and driver there. Use the test button to test for sound. If there is no sound, your setting could be on mute or volume is at minimum. Adjust it using the speaker icon in lower right tray or under Sound and Audio devices in Control Panel.

IF you do not see your device and driver, you need to install the soundcard driver. Then check and test it again under dxdiag.

mine is the same,printer and other hardware,is where you have to click,i tried it and it said i didn't have a audio device to activate.mine worked fine and then it just quit.

go to 'my computer'
click 'sounds, speech, and audio devices' or if it's called something else, whatever. same thing.
then you can click 'sounds, speech, and audio devices' to adjust what sounds are for what, the overall volume of your computer, etc.

or on your computer they may come up separately, such as 'adjust the system volume' 'change the sound scheme' etc etc etc

in case you % to accurately replace your gadget, get the drivers from the toshiba help internet site, or use a driver replace application. a minimum of which will adventure your genuine hardware with the applicable driver and OS version.
