Yes, you can get a paternity test without having to pay for it and without having your business all over the tv on shows like Maury. I am not sure what state you are in but in some states, you can go through the health department or child support offices and the state will pay for the test. If its yours then normally another date is set for a child support hearing. You could contact either the hospital or health department for more questions.

They are very expensive. Set up an appointment with the child support ppl and u can take a test for free. They will send u and her some papers and if she names another guy he will get papers also. If she doesnt and when the baby is born after all 3 of u take the test and it comes back that he/she is not ur child then they will ask her who is the other guy. I know that here in Texas some hospitals require a paternity test in order to fill out the birth certificate; this usually happens when the mother is on Medicaid so she can get proper child support.

nope nothing is free when it comes to kids LOL but just hope the other guy wants to be the father and steps up or pay for the test. but there isnothing like being a parent!

yes, when she sues you or the other guy for child support, you can request a paternity test. other than that, there is the maury show

i dint know dshs might pay for it or what ever your state assistance is where you live but that is messed up and at this point maybe hope the baby isn't yours but if you are happy it might be then congrats!

isn't it cheaper to pay for it and find out it isn't yours instead of getting stuck with child support payments for 18 years?

only if you're not the daddy. if you are then you have to pay. go through the courts
