The last time I rode a horse was on a trail ride at a family reunion about 10 years ago.
I had to climb the fence so I could get on the horse, it was a big horse.

Yes I love to ride a horse. I used to have two horses. A beautiful Arabian, and a beautiful but wild quarter horse. I haven't ridden in quite a while, but that is about to change, because I am getting ready to buy another one.

For the first five years after leaving school I worked on various farming properties. the smallest was 2000 acres and the biggest, 100,000 acres. Most days were spent on horseback. Everything was done using horses.
I havn't ridden now for around 25 years.

It's been a while but I grew up on a farm. Had my own horse named Blackjack. And during my army career I always found riding stables or farms that had horses they would let me ride. Horses are a passion of mine. I hate it when I see a horse mistreated. They are wonderful creatures and respond to a loving touch. What most people don't know is that just a short time on a horse can cause muscles you don't use every day to be extremely sore. Great memories. Thanks. A star for you

Yes, and my GFs & my sister all went horseback riding every weekend for awhile when we were in our teens, right. Well, I got really aqcainted with this particular horse named "Star" and got to the point to where I would request him, everytime we'd go riding. Well one particular weekend we went again, and we got there a bit late, so they had rented out Star to someone else, so I got a horse I wasn't familiar with. Well, when we'd go riding their always was a man who would get all the horses running so fast, we'd all go in a pack, down this one trail, halling-but, it was so fun, too!!! Our hair would be in tangles by the time our hour was up, that's how fast we'd get going, right. Well, on that one weekend Star wasn't available, I was so bummed-out, because the horse I got, only wanted to eat off a tree near the trail !!! He pissed-me off so bad, and my sister and our friends would be all "Kick him on his sides Christy!!" Make him come with us!!" And I'm like I've tried everything this horse doesn't want to do anything but EAT!!! They laughed and went and got the Trail guide-man, and he even came and would get the horse going until he get to the next tree, and he'd stop again, and there I sat most of the evening until I wanted to cry. They all finally had to leave without me and I was too shy to ask for a refund, but that was one ride I'll never forget!!HaHaHa!! I do love horseback riding however!! It's so much fun, to go when they really get running especially!!! LOVE IT!!! Smile!! Great Question!!

Funny you ask this question as my daughters and I stumbled across the most gorgeous horse two weeks or so ago while my son was at a day camp - one of the ladies telling me about her horse was saying at 40 she just started to ride. It inspired me.
I haven't been on a horse in many years. Thinking about it.
