Everyone who has answered "yes" has probably at one time or another done what they're not supposed to be doing at work. If you can't be a good example perhaps lighten up a bit on your employees. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."

You are the employer , you pay their wages . it up to you , but here's a clue, when they work real hard and provide the income that allows you to sit on your butt, (remember that you need to acknowledge that they did a good job, to them as individuals ) An atta Boy goes along way in getting cooperation. and a happy employee tends to be loyal to your company.

Telling them to do their job IS your job. You can't allow a lot of wasted man/hours. (I can already feel the hate). You, however, should work as hard as you want them to work (or close to). Keep walking among them, ask how it's going with what you assigned. I think you have a low morale problem; people don't even think it matters anymore. Be a leader!
