It would require a daily intake of $66.66 which is moderately difficult to do so therefore YES.

I have had the misfortune to be homeless once so I have actually been there with those kind of people and I know that they can earn between $40-$60 a day, but usually only on work days. It depends on the corner where they "work," which explains why some of them are so territorial.

From my experience with the homeless all the bad stories that you hear about them are true, for maybe 25% of them. Most of the people got there through no fault of their own, in my case it was a medical disability.

It is surprising the amount of money that a "professional beggar" can make, and of course a lot of it goes to drugs or booze. This is why some of them refuse to work and why Dallas has passed a No Panhandling Ordinance, which isn't often enforced. It is easy to find and arrest them, but it is hard to stop them from coming back to do it again and again and if you drive them off from one area there will move to another area.

It sure is, and that is why you shouldnt give money to beggars. Did you know, when I lived in Toronto, there was this very pretty woman, who used to walk along Younge St, handing out stickers, saying she was trying to get money to help her kids...

It was found out many years later, and was front page news that the Sticker Lady was a hoax. She lived with her husband just outside of Toronto, in a very nice neighbourhood.

This lady was very good at what she did..like I said she was very pretty, not really like a dirty homeless person, who would have this great smile and come up and kind of hug you and say she needed help for her kids...I just about gave her a dollar or so everythime I saw her.

Then there was this bum, who asked everyone he saw for a toonie, and then drove away in his BMW!!! How the hell do you have a BMW I asked the next time I saw him.........
