Probably a company, costing in the billions of dollars. At least that's the most costiest thing I've ever seen for sale.
I don't know if there have ever been any land sales in the billions yet, maybe government transactions for military equipment, technology, and the like, running into the billions.
There are some things that are considered to be priceless,as you know, things that once gone are gone forever, like pieces of artwork, or your soul or life...

I think it would depend on what you are talking about for instance real estate, cars, jewelry, etc...But if you are talking overall I would imagine it would have to be a jewel or a piece of real estate.
