Well, every provider is different. But I can say that it would take 5 days to 10 days to be done your DSL connection.

as said it depends on your provider but it wont take long as they want you to use the service as quickly as they can.
from cox it took 2-3 days for me to get my modem, shouldnt take longer than a week or 5 business days, though as said depends when they ship it and who the provider is

Each provider is different. They ship their modem from their central depot or depots as the case may be. They want it to you quickly because they can't charge you until you connect and they want to sell their product just like everyone else.

they should have given you that info with your contract. it all depends on your provider.
