If you want to see videos on embroidery machines and see what people are doing, go to YOUTUBE.com.
My girlfriend sent me a link the other day and there are lots and lots of people showing how to do things on their embroidery machines.
As for getting a machine that does all you want it to, go for a BabyLock EMP 6. It is a free arm, 6 needle machine with needle threaders. I have one and it is the biggest one BABYLOCK makes. I got the whole thing, including the stand, software, hat hooper, everything, for less than $9000. And they gave me free lessons too. I have a Brother 12 needle machine as well, and it was $20,000 when I bought it, but they have come down in price now too. But the BabyLock sews just as well and actually does more because it is newer. But both are made by Brother now. I always use the BabyLock for hats because it is sooo simple to set up. The Brother is a real pain and you have to make all kinds of adjustments. And then, set it all back. No need to do that to the BabyLock. You set it up once and never again. Just change the frame with 3 screws and place a plastic piece over the needle plate and you are ready to go. Check them out. Brother also makes one too, but I think it may be a little more expensive.

Look at the Bernina sewing machine web sites they will show you the best machine for your sewing . or look for your nearest Bernina store. When you buy a bernina they give free lesons on the machine and all the help you want. I know this because I work at a bernina store and give the lessons on all machines. we give lessons on the machines for life. Hope this is of some help dont know where you are from so can't tell you where to look. Wendy.

You really need to work with a local dealer when it comes to industrial type machines. I have a friend with the Brother one and she loves it but she worked with her local dealer, took the hands on classes etc. This is not something you should get into without local support.

If you live in Ontario, I would call Triangle Sewing Centre and speak with them. I got my PR-600 from them under $10K and LOVE IT! You thread 6 spools and it does everything that you are looking for and is extremely easy to use. Nancy, one of the owners, will give you a hands on demo of how to use it.

Your best bet is to go to a dealer in your area. I don't believe there are any online videos, but your dealer will have videos for you, and can show you your options.
