The dust storm is far from over, so the outcome for the rovers is still unknown. They are locked down in minimum activity now, but continue to use their battery power to keep componrents warm enough to be restarted. We can only hope...

Well, the dust storms on Mars are continuing at present, and the rover Opportunity is still operational though shut down to lowest possible electrical power consumption. At this time the major effort is obtaining a balance between absolute minimum power consumption needed to be able to restart the robotic rover, and electrical power generated by its dust covered solar panels. Too bad there are no rain showers on the planet to wash off the dust, and clear it out of the atmosphere.

The Rovers are NOT on the move. at least NOT Opportunity. They are in periodic extended "sleep" mode. The dust storm continues to threaten Opportunity the most, but is reducing in strength.

The solar input versus energy consumption continues to put a slight drain on Opportunity's batteries, but scientists are estimating that the probe will survive the storm.

as of today both remain power positive... producing more energy with their solar panels than what they consume. But the storm is far from over.

No.I don't believe we even landed on the red planet yet or the Moon for that matter.

Yes, they are still transmitting information and are still on the move, indicating that they survived.
