Ok, here's the deal. When school starts this fall they're offering a new theatre class. I've always wanted to join theatre and be in things like that...at home, i love acting but in front of all of my "peers" i feel stupid and shy. i dont know if this would be the best for me...a lot of my bff's are joining and id really like to but that would mean actually calling the school and re-arranging my schedule.......I'm just so stuck between two choices!! This would also probably look good on college applications too, right?? Oh gosh, someone help me!!! (BTW, ill be a junior)

If you want to try acting, take the acting class at school because its free and you can express yourself and gain confidence that you will need if you find out you want to pursue it more seriously. Acting opens doors for expression of emotion that you cant emit anywhere else. Dont worry about your peers, you are braver than those who dont try it. Dont worry about the college application part, thats not really an issue. You should also try other theaters where you live to see the differences and how they work.

Ok here's the help. If you want to learn more about acting, take the class. It won't make any difference on your college apps. bye the way going to college to lear to act is a bad idea. Take the class, but if it turns out to just be a place to put people who don't want to take English, get out.
