Honey, don't worry about what size you wear. Worry about your health first - are you able to fit into a pair of jeans without overflowing? Can you find some nice tops to go with jeans? I know 13 is a crucial age where people start to label you and put you into cliques, especially in school. Basically, you are pretty tall and should be able to carry the weight without looking like a blimp.
If you want to lose weight, do it the right way - exercise and eat right. Stay away from soft drinks (diet, okay). Drink more water. Don't drink those "fuel" drinks; they are not good for you and have way too much caffiene and sugar. Eat more fruits and veggies.
There is no way to tell if this is a health weight for you without knowing a few more things. Are your parents big? Tall? Short? On the heavy side? What about siblings? Any diabetes run in your family? Have you put on a growth spurt lately? Are you small-, medium- or large- boned? Have you talked to your doctor about losing weight?
Please, work on the inside first - be friendly to people, don't be mean and spread rumors, go out for pep squad, try the yearbook staff. Remember, a lot of people are scared, just like you. Look in the mirror every day and say something like, I am a good person, I love myself, I look good. Keep repeating it.

When I was your age, I wore a size 5. The difference is, I'm 6" shorter than you. Height counts. If you're really concerned about your weight, see a physician and really talk about it. There are a lot of factors other than pounds to take into consideration. Height and weight are not the most important things to look at. Do you eat fast food a lot? You know it's bad, so I won't lecture you on that. Are you into sports? Muscle weighs more than fat, you know. Many professional athletes weigh more than the height/weight charts show as optimum. As for your butt, I envy you. I have a flat butt, and I mean really, really flat. I have to make my own pants because the crotch in ready mades hangs halfway to my knees.
Unless a physician specifically tells you to diet, it's never a good idea for teenagers to go on a diet. That doesn't mean you can't change your diet. More fruits and veggies, cut out fast food and soft drinks, and drink a half gallon of water every day. Yeah, I know, you've heard all this before. The reason you've heard all this before is that it's true. Trust me.

You're fine.
If you want to tone yourself and keep the same weight as you grow and mature (you're not finished yet at 13) why not exercise by walking for a half hour more each day?
You could also take up a sport. Even something as simple as tennis or bicycling builds confidence and better comfort with your body.
This is a real answer; neurotic drama with diets, frequent weighings, notifying all your family and friends, etc. is not only not necessary, but potentially counterproductive.

If you are asking this, then you traditionally already recognize the reply. It is convenient to tell you to discontinue caring, however as quickly as anybody else comments in your weight, you'll be able to have ideas of insecurity. My advice: seek for activity packages, considering so long as any individual tells you you're fats, you're going to believe you are fat.
