Bus, its a very long trip, 3 hours normal, up to 6 with traffic, just came back from there in March

If you can nnot rent a car, then the best alternative is to take airconditioned buses.

Any air-conditioned land vehicle. The travel is quite long (several hours), so you might as well be as comfortable as possible.
