Radar Love is a 70s cover song from Golden Earring so it shouldn't be labeled a '80s song.

Seventeen was labeled one of the worst songs from the 80s and Winger was always mocked by Bevis and Butthead.

Is Beat It a guitar song? I thought it was from a keytar. I also don't remember a lot of guitar on Heat of the Momment, Fight For Your Right or Jessie's Girl .

So that's five songs that need to be replaced in my opinion.
I would replace them by:
Roads to Madness, Empire or Jet City Woman by Queensryche

Born In The U.S.A. or My Home Town by Bruce Springsteen

Jack and Diane from John Cougar Mellencamp

18 and Life by Skid Row

La Isla Bonita or Pappa Don't Preach by Maddona

Yanno, I got the game the day it came out. It's cool to be playing some new songs, while waiting for Guitar Hero 3 to come out. I don't like the fact that you don't have the option to buy bonus songs. That is the only bad thing I have found so far.

There are a few songs on your list that I haven't unlocked yet ...didn't even know they were there! Now I can't wait to get off work and go home and play til I can get those other songs. HAHA

""Sounds ok, but Radar Love is by Golden Earring ""

Well he is doing an 80s mix and White Lion remade it in the 80s . Golden Earing did it originally but that was in the 70s.
