Have to agree. I suspect that things are being left to the Afghan forces so that if anything goes wrong, then the US will not get blamed.

While I am of the thought that the workers knew about the risks (or should have) I do not agree with the murder of innocents, especially those there to help a country.

Nothing more than what is already being done. I would do everything in my power to try and rescue them but I would not advocate releasing prisoners to get the release of hostages. It only encourages more hostage taking.
