So my cusin & I got a car together she uses it monday - friday I use it saturday & sunday.
Therefore she pays 80% of the car cost. She hasnt been paying me the money so I wrote her a letter informing her informing her that this has to stop & I need to receive the funds when they are due .

She started cursing me out & even threated me.
She stated that she would pay me what she owes me on tuesday but i am ready to take her keys & tell her she cant use the car any more.

I think you should get something in writing, and have it notarized, setting forth the ground rules of this car sharing, as to payments, gas and car maintenance and insurance. Since she uses it 80% of the time, most of that responsibility should be hers. Otherwise, offer to sell her the car, and purchase one for your own exclusive use. If all else fails, your solution seems to be the best. That should avoid any more hassles.

I think you need a mediator some one that is not going to take sides and sit down and talk about this if no resolution is reached then you need to sell the car and buy a cheap one for yourself this was not a very good Idea.

you need to talk to her and tell her that ya made an agreement and she has to stick to it. If she argues and makes a big deal about paying then take it away from her.
