My cousin Baxter has no mirrors in his cell. The only place where a mirror exists is in a small area next to the showers, but you cannot actually touch the mirror, it is behind a plexiglas cover.

It depends of the jail. Different countries or states allow or not allow mirrors in them. And most cells that have mirrors have some protection to prevent them for being broken or removed to use them as weapons (either the glass will fragment too much or wouldn't be taken)

The jail cells have mirrors made of hard plastic that you can barely see yourself in and they are bolted heavy to the wall.

No mirrors. Maybe mirrors behind unbreakable glass in the bathroom.

They have small, metal mirrors. You can't break them or take them down from the wall. A broken mirror could be used to committ suicide or as a weapon against other inmates or guards.

They have some kind of material in which you can see your reflection in...it's not mirror as we know it, it's not breakable and it's bolted to the walls...

Most of them do, well sort of. They have a piece of polished stainless steel bolted to the wall.
