So ya its kind of what it says up there, and I was thinking about doing like a beach-type dinner. There's about 20 of us. Anyone have ideas for food or another way to have a goodbye party?

Give everyone a disposable camera, and after the party, get it all developed. Create a cd for everyone, and if you can afford it, put all the pictures into an album for each friend. It may cost a bit, but they will treasure it forever.

tell different friends to bring different dishes, sports accessories. In this way, u can have fun while enjoying different type of games and food. U can arrange some music at beach, play some water games while enjoying music. U can also shoot video of this event, click photographs, make the CDs of the event and distribute among all, so that every one can have a look on that CD and recall that big party day of their lives with their dear friends.
All the Best.

have everyone bring a dish That is their favorite but with the twist, it must be of their nationality, you will not have all the food resting on one person to coordinate, and you will get to eat yourselves around the world. we used to throw a 4th of July beach bash and do this and we ended up at the last one with over 100 people!the food was incredible and we tasted things we would have never tried had we not been there at this party! have a great time!!!
