I have been at the law firm I work at for 17 months now. I work there as a paralegal for the senior partner. I am also the financial manager for the office, which is why I have this problem - I know first-hand that the firm is going broke. I don't know how much longer they can afford to keep paying me...
I really love my job, the people I work with, and my boss - I don't want to work anywhere else, but payday is Wednesday, and I might not get any money.
There is also the possibility that they can save this, but I don't see how. I just don't want to quit if I don't have to.
What would you do? What should I do?

About the pending cases - we don't really have anything going to trial or settlement for quite a while - also, we do Plaintiff's work, so everything is contingency, and not billable hours.
