The best way to be a top salesman is know everything possible about the product you are selling and have an answer for everything when the customer trys to say but I don't need it. Show them that they couldn't live without the product. Also be very confidant, don't be shy and withdrawn. Look like you really love the product and couldn't live without it. And most important of all is you have to be able to deal with rejection as that will happen loads.

I sold cars for 4 years and sold my self as a Mobile disc jockey for Years so I have vast experience in salesmanship !
#1. Always Look your Customer Directly in The EYE !
#2 Ask what YOU need to do to make them purchase that Product your selling them TODAY!
#3 What is their lifestyle ? What features of maybe the more expensive mdel has that would benifit them more!
#4 Talk to them what High shool did they gradute from Compliment The Women on Her Looks or dress even if she is fugly !
#5 NEVER Ever Glass Plate Qulify YOUR Customer as in NEVER JUDGE a BOOK by it's COVER !
#6 Sell YOURSELF TOO become fully knowdegable about YOUR Product(s) TELL them YOU have ONE and why !

#7 IF YOU cant Close the deal turn it over to another sales man and split the Commision !
Half a Loaf is Better Than None !
#8 Make them laugh ; make them feel they have walked into the right place and Met the right Person !
#9 DO NOT waste YOUR time with Window shoppers ! GAWDDDDDDDDDDDddd The Money i lost when NEW car models came out BY wasting an Hour with LOOKERS !
#10 OFFER Help to another sales man if YOUR not Busy with a customer !
rember YOUR a TEAM SHE or HE is MONEY to YOU make them YOUR Best Friend at work only! Dosent Apply if YOUR out OnYour own of Course !
#11 always Learn something every day keep listening to the OLD Timer His experince is worth THOUSANDS of Dollars to YOU !
#12 ADVERTISE YOUR Businees everyhwere YOU can .. GET TRAFFIC real world and On Line ! IF YOU have NO TRAFFIC YOU will fail miserably !

make your customers feel super special! know lots about the product, and be fun but not improfessional. also, you dont want to come off as cold or stern- that scares people!

when you see somebody that qualifies this requirement then go for it. When selling don't ask questions that requires negative answer always ask pre selling questions
